UPDATE:
June 25, 2012 – The Supreme Court of the United States upholds the “Citizens United” decision, 5-4, overturning Montana’s Corrupt Practices Act, which restricted corporate spending on state and local political elections, the candidates and the parties. The Supreme Court ruled that the states could not regulate their own limits on corporate expenditures in their individual state and local elections.
